Saving and Taxes

I have been saving up for a new dishwasher for a long while now. I have been putting all my loose change and dollars into an old baby formula can for about eight months now. My goal was to save up three hundred and fifty dollars for this nice dishwasher I saw at Home Depot. One day I decided to go into my bedroom and see what I had so far. So I opened the lid, dumped out all the money onto my bed all while holding my breath. I counted anxiously first the change than all the bills. Three hundred forty six, three hundred forty seven, three hundred forty eight, three hundred forty nine, three hundred fifty. “Aaaahhhhh oh my god I did it oh my god I did it, come in here honey I yell”. My husband came rushing in thinking something was on fire or something. He had a look of confusion of his face. He did not know what to make of the scene. He said “honey whats going on, are you okay”. I said “yes fantastic don’t you see I did it I did it I saved up three hundred fifty dollars for that dishwasher I’ve been wanting so bad”. So than he asks “so honey how much is that dishwasher”. I said “well three hundred fifty dollars of course”. He turns with a concerned look on his face and says “honey what about Taxes?” I said “oh tax oh no I totally forgot:. With a sad stricken look on my face I started to put away my can for it to marinade in my closet a little bit more. That night as lay in bed I think of my disappointment and how much paying taxes suck.
